| Sample Web Site: Our Saviour's Church | |||
Our Saviour's is an urban ministry in downtown Minneapolis. Their front page reflects their mission, "To Celebrate, serve and do justice". Their home page is a straight-forward presentation of how to get to the church, call the church and become involved. They use a sidebar on the right with links to important ministry information.
Their pastor's sermons reflect the importance of urban ministry and become a place for people to consider becoming part of this vital community for the inner city.
This image of their home page reflects the time the snapshot was taken, Lent. Today, the home site may look different. It is easier, however, to establish a certain look and then change the details when needed. It takes only 5 minutes to go to the Web site, edit the Web page and save it in a new form. Speed is important in being able to make changes.
This image shows the entire home page, top to bottom. When viewing the site, each Web page may be of different height, adjusting to the amount of content. This is 2-4 screen lengths, depending on a person's monitor size.
