Janet Tidemann began her tenure as associate pastor in 1989. She currently serves as visitation pastor. Prior to Our Saviour’s, Janet served St. James Lutheran Church in Burnsville, Minnesota, as interim pastor at Calvary Lutheran Church in south Minneapolis, and as a missionary to Tanzania. Janet grew up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and Luther Seminary. She is married to Paul Tidemann, a retired Lutheran pastor. She is the mother of two adult children, and has five grand-children.

Mary Preus is a singer, teacher, worship leader and choir director. She has been working in Lutheran, UCC, and ecumenical faith communities for fifteen years. Mary began her work as music director at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in 1994. In addition to that ongoing ministry she is also the worship coordinator for the ecumenical Community of St. Martin. She is a member of two worship leading music groups: Bread for the Journey and Cross Culture. Mary, along with colleagues Tom Witt, Susan Briehl, Daniel Erlander and Marty Haugen presents a worship renewal conference called, Living Liturgy. Mary was a member of the Hymnody Editorial Team for the ELCA’s Renewing Worship project.

Diane Palmer was born and raised in Chicago, Diane is the oldest of six children. She moved to Minnesota in 1974 after graduating from Eastern Illinois University. She started her own business in 1980, providing bookkeeping and tax services to small businesses and non-profits organizations. She started working at Our Saviour’s in 2005 as a part-time bookkeeper and accepted the job of Business Manager in June 2006. She still provides financial and tax services to small businesses, friends and family.
