Ecosystem Olympic reaches 10,000 Students and Adults

Superintendent Karen Gustin shares her love of the park

Presented in 4th grade classrooms throughout the Olympic Peninsula, Ecosystem Olympic! is a curriculum-based educational program that also brings students to the park and the program to community festivals and events. Since 2005, more than 10,000 students and adults have experienced the park through this opportunity.

Ecosystem Olympic! introduces students to Olympic National Park and the diverse ecosystems the park contains. Through interactivity and a slide show, students gain insights into their own connections to the park and how they can play a role as current and future stewards of Olympic National Park and their own communities.
