Visiting Mount Rainier

Mount Rainier National Park can be enjoyed all year around, with primary access into the park via Washington State Route 706 through Ashford to the Nisqually Entrance in the southwest corner of the park.

Limited winter access is available via highway 123 in the southeast corner of the park.  In summer only, the north and east sides of the park can be accessed using highway 410.

Always check for seasonal road closures before beginning your travel to the park.
